New MacBook Pro has RIM Blackberry Storm like Tech
By: Peter Chubb | October 14, 2008 | 1 CommentApple are not normally ones for copying other technologies, but it seems that the new MacBook Pro shares a tech feature with the RIM Blackberry Storm. The technology in question is RIM’s ClickThrough, which is used as a scroll-click.
It is a surprise that the new MacBook Pro is all set to use a similar technology, which will be announced today. The new track pad is much like the trackpad on the Air, with one difference, it is made from glass.
The whole of the glass trackpad it one big button, you just press and click. It will be interesting to see how fans of the MacBook pro will react to this new trackpad, it does seem strange, but Apple always has a way of making things work and the Gall trackpad should be no exception.
