Open Office 3.0: download officially out

Open Office 3.0, the free office suite has been officially launched for download today, many people have asked if this free office software has what it take to battle rival software. The new version of Open Office has a new Star center.
This screen offers you the choice of starting in different modes, these include Impress like PowerPoint, Calc, like Excel, and finally Writer, like Word. A feature that has always been on Open Office has been redesigned for version 3.0 into a helpful portal to the Office Suite software.
Open Office 3.0: offer support for upcoming ODF 1.2 and OOXML standards, these are the standard main XML-based formats that we are likely to see with all office documents in the future.

Upgraded to OO 3.0 and all my saved documents disappeared. Is this a bug?
