It seems that the guys over at Sony have not been getting any time to sleep, it has not been that long since the last round of updates for their games consoles. The new firmware updates Sony PS3 2.50 and PSP 5.00 is coming soon.
The Sony PS3 firmware update 2.50 is one of those that you will forget about, the only feature updates of any interest is support for SOCOM Bluetooth Headset’s High Quality mode, as well as some tweaks for the Trophy as well as the power management.
The Sony PSP firmware update 5.00 gets the long awaited WiFi version of the PlayStation Store. This means that you can now download games, as well as trailers and demos. There is no information as to when the firmware updates will be available, but PlayStation Blog is certain that it will be very soon

It’s shocking that a lot of the features such as power saving modes weren’t there from the start. Better late than never.
My question is will Windows Media Player or Quicktime or even Real Player be integrated into the PS3’s Web browser?
