AT&T Quickfire: Similar to Sidekick and T-Mobile G1
By: Peter Chubb | October 11, 2008 | 5 CommentsAs we know AT&T are to add a new phone to their already extensive lineup, and it has much in common to the Danger-powered Sidekick. The new AT&T phone bears even more resemblance to the upcoming T-Mobile G1.
The new phone in question is the Quickfire, but were you aware that this new phone is a rebranded phone which was manufactured by UTStarcom. There is still a lot we need to learn about the new AT&T Quickfire. We do know that the phone has a large display, although it is not known if it will be of the touchscreen Varity, which is all the rage at the moment.
The screen does slide away to reveal a sunken-in QWERTY keyboard, not sure why they would want a touchscreen then. The new phone has been solely designed for those who love to send emails and texts. The AT&T Sidekick will cost $99.99 on a two-year contract.
