BMW gone crossover made: X4 now planned
By: Peter Chubb | October 10, 2008
Just a few years ago, BMW did not have a very big range of cars, but that has all changed since the introduction of the crossover. BMW seem to have a bit of a love affair with the CUV, and keep adding more news models.
Earlier this year saw the launch of the X6, and then we saw a preview of their concept X1. BMW have now announced that they are to launch the X4 next year, and will have a few design features taken from the larger X6.
You have to ask yourself why BMW are going down the route of the CUV, as many drivers are now choosing to swap their larger vehicles for smaller more fuel efficient models. BMW designers must be a little bit bored, I know what we can do for a new CUV, just take the X6 and squash it down and then we have the X4, the customers will never know.
