Verizon Samsung Glyde: no challenge to the iPhone
By: Peter Chubb | October 9, 2008 | Leave a CommentThe Samsung Glyde is a phone that has a snazzy design and the full size keyboard makes messaging easy. However it is the touch screen that I am not too sure on, as it is unresponsive and loves to freeze up a lot.
It seems that no matter where you look there is a touch screen phone everywhere, but the Samsung Glyde must have been rushed to get it in the store, because the job that they have done is very poor. Verizon Wireless must like it, as that is the carrier who is supplying the handset.
The Samsung Glyde does look the part with its sleek design and high-end capabilities, but all that goes to waste with the underperforming touchscreen. This handset is no challenge to the iPhone, my advice, wait for the Blackberry Storm.
