Unboxing the Sony VAIO TT: not worth the price
By: Peter Chubb | October 9, 2008 | Leave a CommentAs I write this post I start to feel a little inadequate, as the Sony VAIO TT looks on paper to be an awesome laptop, the one I am writing on is just a cheap Toshiba. The TT has a huge price tag of $4,449.99, which is a lot of bucks just for a laptop.
Engadget are very lucky as they have got their hands on one, and have decided to post their unboxing of it. I think they have done it just to show off and let everyone know that they have one in their office, yes I know, I am coming over all jealous.
So what do you get for your money, well firstly there is the 128GB SSD, 1.4GHz Core 2 Duo SU9400 CPU, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, 11.1-inch LED-backlit display, a Blu-ray writer, built-in MOTION EYE webcam, and much more. All this weighs just 2.87 pound. Would I buy the Sony VAIO TT, no as I do not think that it warrants such a huge price tag.
