Motorola RAZR V3 top-selling handset in America beating iPhone
By: Peter Chubb | October 9, 2008 | Leave a CommentIf you was to ask anyone what they thought was the best selling phone in America, you would expect them to say the Apple iPhone, or maybe a Blackberry from RIM. However; you would be wrong, because in a recent study, it shows that the best selling phone in the U.S. is the RAZR V3.
I am as surprised as you are, maybe it has something to do with the fact that most movies and TV shows in America featured a Motorola RAZR V3. The handset was in 24 as well as Bones.
The main reason why the phone sells so well is because it is highly subsidized, and almost all carriers stock the phone. The Apple iPhone came in 2nd with the Blackberry Curve coming in 3rd. With this news, you would expect Motorola to announce some great profit margins.
