
Ford Stock Price update: just $2.40 lowest since 1983
By: Peter Chubb | October 9, 2008 | Leave a CommentWe wrote an article today about how low Ford’s Stock price went down to yesterday; well they have fallen yet again today. The stock price has now fallen to $2.40 per share, the lowest it has been since 1983.
This has to be a worry for the Ford Motor Co., but it is a trend that I feel will last for a while yet. You have to ask yourself how low Ford can keep going if the value of their shares keeps falling.
Ford in the UK is already feeling the strain of the credit crunch, which is why one of the factories has gone on to a four day week. In the last Ten years, Ford has lost over $2.06 billion in their stock price. Where will they be in the next ten years?
