Steve Wozniak, one of the founders of Apple has launched an attack on the iPod, saying that the media device is doomed. He said that the gadget is just another fad just like the Walkman as well as the hula-hoop.
Wozniak said that the iPod has been the number one media device for some time now, but if you look back, so was the Walkman and the transistor radio but they dies out after being at the top for a while.
Steve Wozniak did say that when people have a few of these devices in their home they do not sell as much, and they get real cheap. Do you agree with the Apple founder, I think that the Apple iPod has gone from strength to strength and will just keep getting better we added improvements?

Wozniak’s argument is so flawed. The Walkman and the transistor radio died out because they were superceded by better products such as the CD Walkman and the Mini-Disk player. The iPod will only ‘die’ if a better solution is found. People will always want portable music and media so it’s not faddish at all.
