T-Mobile G1 Video: Google Maps On Android

As you know T-Mobile G1 is the first handset to use Google Android, and here we have a great video of the phone showing what it can do as well as Google Maps on Android. This will allow you to perform location based searches, compass mode and much more.
It is features like Google Maps that will help the G1 gain ground over Apple’s iPhone. The T-Mobile phone also draws strength with its tight integration with a range of Google’s online services.
Google e decided to give us a little demonstration of Google Maps and how well it works on the G1, in the video below you are able to see just how great the mapping software works with the handset.

I must admit that this cell phone rocks like two 8.0 earthquakes and it’s going to rush to the top and flood the world like a Tsunami… I Ordered mines and even switched from AT&T to the best carrier now… “Tmobile”. Sweeeet.
we all know google is awesome, but this phone is boxy and dorky, i-ugly.
totally agree with the ugly factor but it makes up for it
