RIM BlackBerry Storm 9500 news: touch screen with springs

For some time now RIM have been making blackberry’s with a standard keyboard, but the phone maker knows that to be able to compete with the likes of Apple’s iPhone they need to change their tactic.

RIM is launching the BlackBerry Storm 9500, which is to be their first touch screen handset as we already know. RIM are not stupid, they have studied what Apple have done with the iPhone and improved on the touch screen format.

Many iPhone users hate that they do not get any sensation when they touch the screen, RIM have decided to add a screen that is backed by springs on their BlackBerry Storm 9500. When you press the screen, it gives in under your finger. It is small things like this that has made RIM such a successful brand.
