GPS Snitch saves man’s motorcycle twice

The story proves that technology is there to help, and the GPS Snitch has done just that.

Laszlo Tenai was shocked to find out his 2006 Honda CBR 1000RR motorcycle had been stolen from in front of his Upper East Side apartment building for the second time in just eight months. But once again he was able to lead police to the stolen vehicle with the aid of his Blackline GPS Snitch. The Snitch combines cellular and GPS technologies to alert owners via text message when their vehicle has moved outside of a predefined perimeter. It can then be tracked online in real-time to pinpoint the exact location.

Mr. Tenai was able to show Officer Frvallani where his bike was on his computer, and help police recover the vehicle in just 20 minutes. “The Snitch led us right to where the bike had been parked on 74th St. between York and 1st Avenues,” saidFrvallani.

Mr. Tenai also has a LoJack early warning system installed on his bike, but the service took over fours hours to alert him, by which time the motorcycle had already been recovered with the information provided by the GPS Snitch.

“This product has helped me get my bike back twice now,” said Tenai. “It sent me a text message when my bike was moved, then allowed me to track it and gave me the exact location it was parked at so police could recover it all within 20 minutes. The Snitch is just an amazing security device and I would recommend it to anyone worried about their motorcycle or car.”

I remember when the LoJack thing came out. What a waste of money. About time these GPS devices started to work for people like this. Well done Mr Tenai. :)
