Ford 2010 models include programmable ignition key for Parents
By: Peter Chubb | October 7, 2008 | Leave a CommentEver since I can remember car makers have used safety features in their cars, this is done with the intention of saving lives. As technology improves so do out safety features in our cars, and it seems as if Ford are leading the way.
We all know how parents look out and care for their children, so the Ford Motor Co. has taken it upon them to become parents to our teenagers. A select few of 2010 Ford vehicles will come with a new programmable ignition key for Parents.
This key will be programmed by Ford at no extra cost, and will restrict the maximum speed as well as offer additional safety alerts. Although this device will upset many teenagers, it will help to ease the worry for parents, and hopefully save a few lives in the process.
