Blackberry Curve and Pearl: second and third best selling phones

In a recent survey that was carried out it shows that the iPhone 3G from Apple is the best selling phone in the months from June to August. The second best selling phone was the Blackberry Curve with the Pearl coming in third.

Since Apple released their iPhone the sales of Smartphone’s have fallen dramatically. The average price for a Smartphone in the months of June and August was $174 that is down from $236, this time last year.

With the launch of the T-Mobile G1 now imminent, it is hoped that this first Google Android powered handset will be able to take the fight to the iPhone. However; the downside to this is, the sales of the Blackberry Curve and Pearl will fall even further

  1. Excellent gadget. I’m planning to get my hands on it. But this set has some warranty issues where I live.

    Thank you
