XP Antispyware 2009: how to remove safely
Filed under: Computers, Software

XP Antispyware 2009 as you know is a rogue anti-spyware program that tricks people into thinking that it has something to do with Microsoft Windows XP. You should beware of this program; many of the sites that offer a download for the program do not give you any information about the creators.
XP Antispyware 2009 is a useless program; it shows falsified pop-ups and offers false information about possible infections as well as system security risks. If you have downloaded the program, you should uninstall right away, this has to be done correctly. The manual removal of the program can be hard, as it does not remove all components. Please remember to remove all components of this parasite that includes trojans as zlob.trojan, trojan.vundo and Trojan.Downloader.
In other news, Microsoft has filed a lawsuit against unknown parties behind alleged scareware products, such as XP Antispyware 2009.

I have used removal instructions but with little success. Part of the virus remains in a little form of a red cross by the time clock on righ lower corner of system.
Do you know who made this virus? how do I get off of my system? It keeps on poping up and reminding me of infection in my PC.
I used a free program called Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware. That got rid of it.
A simple google search should find it.
Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware is a dream! Got rid of the whole problem in minutes – you’ll need your original Windows disc to complete the operation.
