New Renault Megane III vs. Volkswagen Golf and Ford Focus

As we know Renault have upped their game when it comes to the design and driving experience of their cars, this is evident with their Laguna, Twingo and Koleos. But there is one model that has always been their bread and butter, and that is the Megane. You will get the chance to see the new Renault Megane III at the Paris Motor Show 2008.
The Megane has always had to do battle on a very tough battle field, as their main rivals are the Volkswagen Golf and the Ford Focus. You have to wonder what Renault is able to do in order to take the fight to the ever popular Focus.
Renault hopes that by offering six different Megane bodystyles, all with their own distinct character will be enough to win the battle. I have to say that Renault has done a wonderful job on the styling, but I do think that I can see a hint of the new Focus on the bonnet/hood.
