Collectable Tokyo Craze: We Love Momiji Dolls
October 6, 2008 | Filed under Gadgets

Momiji Dolls are little, collectable friendship figures modelled after the handmade Kokeshi dolls from Japan. Each Momiji has her own name and style. The dolls are designed by top manga stylists, one of the more notable designers is Nina Zimmerman whose collection is inspired by her favourite places.
Each Momiji doll is as unique and beautiful as their recipient. They are also good at keeping secrets. Each one has a little note-card hidden in their base so that whoever is giving the doll can write a little message to the recipient.
Already highly commended by the Gift Association, Momiji dolls are set to become the next big collectable craze, and it’s easy to see why. The little dolls are so charming and friendly they can’t help but bring a smile to everyone’s faces. With mottos like “Funny Girl, you Make it Sunny Girl” and “Your soul is a good one, I know it when it shines in your eyes” how can anyone resist. It’s easy to get to know each Momiji as they all like different things. Flowers Momiji likes the Shipping Forecast and New Shoes while Laughing Momiji likes Cowboys and Playing the Bongos.
Alongside the dolls, Prezzybox are launching a range of Momiji Accessories. From Mugs to Luggage tags and Journals as well as Gashapon small toys, Prezzybox are spoiling Momiji fans rotten.
Prezzybox will also be launching their very own Momiji website soon, so collectors can meet and play games.
Momiji dolls are priced from £6.95-£11.95 and the accessories can vary from £4.95 to £14.95. Visit Prezzybox.
