Lotus 2009 Exige Cup 260 loses weight gains power

The Lotus 2009 Exige Cup 260 must have more expensive sports cars running scared, as the little car will be able to now scare them on the race track. The new Lotus 2009 Exige Cup 260 has been on a diet, losing 80 pounds. The car now weighs just under a ton.

The small sports cars is powered by a 1.8-liter Toyota engine coupled with a Eaton M62 supercharger that produces 257 horsepower, that’s a lot for a car of this weight. The ‘09 Exige Cup 260 should be able to get from 0 to 60mph in less than four seconds.

The Lotus 2009 Exige Cup 260 is road legal in Europe, but you really need to get this car on the race track to see what it is all about. The car will cost £45,995.
