F-150 Striker R by Performance West coming to SEMA
By: Peter Chubb | October 1, 2008 | Leave a CommentIf you was a fan of the F-350 Striker diesel dually but thought it was a bit on the large side, then Performance West might have the answer. They have produced the F-150 Striker R, and you will get the chance to see it for yourself at next month’s SEMA.
The specifications and power numbers are pretty impressive explains Mike Levine from Pickuptrucks.com. Power comes from Ford’s 5.4L V8 which has been mated to a 2.4L Kenne Bell Blowzilla supercharger and intercooler. The result is 500 horsepower.
With all that power going to the wheels you need a good suspension system to keep you pinned to the road. The Bell Tech suspension package will do the job perfectly. The F-150 Striker R certainly is stunning, but it is those 22-inch alloy wheels that do it for me.
