Chinese made Mac Pro’s emitting toxic benzene gas
By: Peter Chubb | October 1, 2008 | Leave a CommentWe all thought that Apple were getting on top of things and were making their products greener. Looks like Apple might have been celebrating too soon, as their Mac Pro’s have been accused of emitting a toxic gas.
It seems that a French newspaper have said that some Mac Pro’s might actually contain benzene. This gas gives of a horrible stench which will irritate the eyes, skin, as well as the respiratory tract.
The affected computers are thought to be Chinese made. The gas might cause you to become dizzy, and give you the feeling of a migraine. As yet Apple has not made a statement, if you have got a smelly Mac Pro, just be careful.
