Xbox Live Update Maintenance Schedule MTU Failed Monday

As we mentioned on Monday, Xbox Live was down for a maintenance schedule so we thought we would give you an update. Many Xbox Live users had mentioned that MTU had failed as well yesterday.
The downtime was not for the much anticipated Xbox Experience, it was just for an update to the dashboard. My Xbox section of Xbox.com was also down in this maintenance time.
Xbox Live should be up and running today as the update was only to last for 24 hours. We just have to hope that there will be no problems once users log back in to their Xbox Live accounts. Let us know what you think about the new update.

well so much for an update, nothing has updated on my xbox360. thanks for nothing microsoft. they advertised that wednesday would have a new update to the dashboard or something like that. but nothing…. seriously nothing.

You stupid fucks. 24 hours means it’ll star at midnight in there time zone and end at mid night in there time zone. com’on think for a second
what a waste of precious playing time.
IM GONNA GUESS… that the update may have been in preperation for a dashboard update. in a couple of days il turn on an it will say if i wish to use xbl i need to update for 20 min an then maybe it will be there.
OR… theres no dash update. instead xbl now gives you the right to over 100% more crap on the market place to spunk all ur money an will even consider u for credit! lol….HAPPY XMAS. hehe
I can sign into xbox live, but there is no update. Just the same dashboard there has always been.
Did the dashboard not get updated like it was supposed to for anyone else either?

funny thing is i waited for nothing.
the update failed and the old dashboard is up.
i can get on live and everything.
nothing has changed… yet.
I guess the new updates will come in to play after the true 24 hours is up. Im in central time so I will try around 2:00 p.m. today to see if there has been a change in the dashboard and these features Xbox say that they are giving us.
I could log on, but nothing happend, it was all the same stuff.
