
Official: Samsung’s Pixon M8800 8MP LG Renoir rival
By: Peter Chubb | September 30, 2008 | Leave a CommentThere were rumors yesterday about a second 8MP from Samsung, now today the electronics giant has made it official. The new Samsung Pixon M8800 is almost certain to become a rival to the LG Renoir.
The new Pixon is about to steal the award for the world’s slimmest 8 megapixel phone from the LG KC910. The LG Renoir is 13.95mm, but the Pixon is just 13.8mm thick.
The new phone from Samsung is packed with a host of features; these include an integrated Photo Browser. This makes photo sharing and viewing easier. There will be a host of connectivity options; these include GSM, GPRS, EDGE as well as HSDPA at 7.2Mbps.
The Samsung Pixon will be available from November 1st
