AMD Radeon HD 4550 & 4350: Budget 3D graphics cards

With money becoming harder to come by gamers are looking for every way to save money, and AMD have come up with the answer. The computer hardware giant has launched two new budget 3D graphics cards.

These are the ATI Radeon HD 4800 and the Radeon HD 4350. The 4800 features 512MB of DDR3 video memory, while the 4550 features 256MB of DDR2 VRAM. The cards will cost $50 and $40 respectively.

As you can expect, these budget GPU’s will not set any benchmark records. However do not let that put you off, but if you were to choose one, you might be better off going for the HD 4550.

I would be interested in seeing some benchmarks on this 4350 Radeon Card. I recently bought an ASUS motherboard that came with a pretty dece 3250 Radeon Card. Wonder if this budget card would be much of an upgrade?
