Today is September 29, which can only mean one thing, yes Xbox Live is down for maintenance. This downtime is expected to last for 24 hours, so don’t try and get on any time soon.
The downtime of Microsoft Xbox Live will be used to upgrade the service as well as running maintenance, which is needed before the busy holiday season.
Microsoft has said that when people are able to login again to Xbox Live on Tuesday 30, do not expect to see Xbox Experience just yet. The release of this new service is still expected for release some time in the fall.

What no fall update
nooooooooooooo
what are the updates then?
not yet it is still to come
I know!! I got all excited when I heard about the downtime, and I’m secretly hoping it really IS the fall update and they are keeping it under wraps in case they cant get it to work or something… yeah I know get a life
It’s to make the XBox Live faster, and more reliable during game play because the holiday season is only around the corner, and a lot of kids will have a 360 under the tree.
