MySpace finally launches music site to compete with Apple iTunes

For what seems like an eternity, MySpace have finally Announced the launch of their joint venture with four major music companies, which is hoped to compete with the likes of Apple’s iTunes. MySpace Music will have to be something very special to take the fight to iTunes, which is the music store of choice.
MySpace Music has been designed to win fans over by offering fans unlimited free music, as well as concert tickets, comprehensive music catalogs, merchandising as well as a range of other entertainment features. It seems like the social networking site is going in with all guns blazing with this joint venture.
MySpace have already won the biggest battle though, and that is by getting all four of the largest music companies, including EMI Music to sign the deal in the first place. This new product is hoped to help boast the profits for these music companies, as they have seen their profits fall in recent years.
