Microsoft’s latest Ads titled “I’m a PC” has certainly won a few more points in Microsoft’s favor, but what if these ads were made on a Mac.
According to PC World, Microsoft posted some digital images on its Web site that look like frames from the television ads, and when you look at the originating-software stamp in the images you find something interesting.
PC World claims that four of these images have the designation of “Adobe Photoshop C3 Macintosh”, while the others were made of a Windows version of Photoshop. The $300 million being spent on revamping Windows Vista’s reputation is going well, but what you make of the possibility that Mac’s have been used for the creation of a Vista TV advertisement?

I wouldn’t be surprised. Apple software and comps are used on video editing quite a bit- My best friend is a film maker and uses it because that’s where he can get Final Cut Pro- something that I know if it was available in PC would reduce sales of Macs. I am sure some business or products shipped, international communications, etc. done by Mac are touched by PC. The thing is that Macs are good for some things- PCs can work on everything- I like the new spots because it’s true- PCs are used all over and have been at the front of many achievements. I use a PC- I have used Macs and my friend is happy- but then he realized he was stuck using Mac mp3 players, mac drives, Mac routers- etc. I love a world “without walls”.. windows are OK.. hehe. ANyway- I’m glad Microsoft and just the PC in general is fighting back to those spots that aim to make PCs the fat guy with glasses- I don’t think the Mac guy is that cool anyway-
I also can’t stand a mouse with no right button- and the freedom to get software on the fly -
To me, the inability for i-phones to copy/paste and send media messages encompass Mac- but they do look cool- some of us just don’t need tech to make us cool- we look for functionality- or something to help our own creativity ..
So what… who cares?
I use both PC’s and MAC’s. Whatever it takes to get the job done. These are just tools, why do we have to compare the two all the time… PC vs. MAC discussion always drives me crazy, it’s the same as Nikon vs. Canon or BMW vs. Mercedes… It’s pointless… Use the tools that you believe will get you the best results… simple..
