AVG Free Anti-Virus 8.0 or Internet Security

It has been named as CNET’s most downloaded software, and AVG’s Free Anti-Virus 8.0 is as popular as ever with even more advancements in online protection.

Trudy Walsh from GCN has taken a detailed look at the new AVG Internet Security and even names it as “The web whisperer”. This is thanks to the way it listens to the Internet in ways you do not, and then reports back to you with what it finds.

AVG Internet Security 8.0 does a great job at protecting you, but is it worth paying the $54.99 for a one-year instead of sticking with the free AVG? Internet Security 8.0 will protect you against rootkits, Phishing attacks, Trojans, spyware, spam, and viruses. Its compatible with Vista and XP.
