Apple Sneaker Patent: Nike+ athletic system with GPS
By: Daniel Chubb | September 12, 2008 | Leave a CommentApple has recently put forward a patent, the reason we have called it the Apple Sneaker Patent is because it is Apple wanting Nike+ athletic system with GPS technology in sneakers.
The new filing from Apple is about the future generation Nike+ system that will monitor athletic performance in real-time; this is good because it will give real-time feedback to the wearer of the athletic sportswear.
The way it looks to us seems simple in the way wear Nike shoes will have Apple technology within and that technology is an integrating GPS and additional shoe-based sensors.
