Nintendo Wii pool cue from RealMotion on American Pool Deluxe

RealMotion have announced that they will be shipping a RealMotion pool cue for Nintendo Wii’s American Pool Deluxe which is set to be launched this November.

Although pool cue Wiimote accessories are available already, this pool cue by RealMotion is set to be a fantastic accessory for the new American Pool Deluxe game, it’s been reported that the unit will be carefully crafted and built particularly to take advantage of the Wii remote’s accelerometer technology for real precision and fun,”

We have not seen any photos of the RealMotion pool cue, so will have to wait until it’s officially launched.

I’m surprised it’s taken them this long to get one out - it’s such an obvious use of the accelerometer and pool games on the PC using mice have been out for over a decade. It’s also further proof of where the technology’s heading - motion sensors in console and mobile gaming are now really big
