
IE 6 Users Get Google Gmail Upgrade
By: Daniel Chubb | September 8, 2008 | 1 CommentFollowing on from the recent news of Google’s new Chrome web browser, Microsoft’s second beta of Internet Explorer 8, Firefox 3.1 launch in a matter of days, and now we have some more browser news for Gmail users.
The latest news in the browser market is directed towards IE 6 users, many Internet users are still using this version of the popular browser and Google has supported these people with a new version of Gmail for the 2001 browser.
After getting this update, the Internet Explorer 6 user will get access to invisible mode for IM, integration with AOL Instant Messenger, Gmail Labs features, and colored labels for messages. This latest update lets IE 6 users have access to similar features in Safari 3, IE 7, and Firefox 3.
