Two new Sharp AQUOS Blu-ray players, BD-HP50U & BD-HP21U
By: Peter Chubb | September 5, 2008 | Leave a CommentAlthough these are not the best Blu-ray players in the world, it only seems fair to mention Sharp’s two new AQUOS Blu-ray players. The BD-HP50U & BD-HP21U were showcased at their CEDIA booth.
Looking at the design of both players they both look similar, so it is hard to say if paying the extra for the HP50U is worth it. We will only know this once people start to purchase them and say what they think.
The Sharp BD-HP21U comes with DVD playback and HD Up-Conversion as well as profile 1.1 bonus view. The Sharp BD-HP50U has picture in picture along with BD Java Operation.
