Sony Introduce Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo HX

This is the latest in an endless line of Memory Stick products that Sony continue to produce, the Sony Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo HX is said to be designed for high performance HD camcorders and digital cameras.

The Sony PRO-HG Duo HX achieves maxim performance thanks to an 8-bit parallel interface. Add this to a 10-year warranty, and its clear that Sony want to give value for money and the best performance possible.

Although in their press release, Sony only quoted transfer speeds when the card is used with the included MSAC-UAH1 USB adapter. They gave a maximum write speed of 15MB/sec and a read speed of 20MB/sec. These memory sticks should be available in October in a 8GB and 4GB option.
