Sony unveils HDR-FX1000, HVR-Z5J High-def Camcorders

When it comes to High-def Camcorders, Sony usually comes up with some great products and that is evident with the two new models that they have unveiled. The HDR-FX1000 and HVR-Z5J are DV-tape based, high-definition camcorders, and should hopefully go on sale within a couple of months.

Sony has aimed the HDR-FX1000 at the high-end consumer market, while the HVR-Z5J is for the professional market. The former should hit Japan in November, with the latter coming in December. Both will be available worldwide, but a date is not available at this time.

The Sony HDR-FX1000 will cost around ¥400,000 (US$3,700) and will be available on November 10. Read more at here.
