Sony PSP-3000 October 16 Japan launch

Sony have announced that the new PSP-300 will get a launch date in Japan on October 16, the handheld will have a price tag of 19,800 yen ($182), that is the same price as the current Sony PlayStation Portable.

The redesigned PSP-3000 has a number of improvements; these include a brighter screen as well as a built-in microphone. The display has seen a vast improvement as well as higher color depth and a faster response time.

Sony are also using their anti-reflection technology, this means that you are now able to play your PSP in bright environments. The video-out functionality of the system has also seen a great improvement.
