The other great thing about this screen, is that the Essence has done something quite wonderful to keep this screen minimal, the most important being the separate “connectivity” box, which will attach to the screen via a single 4m cable. Secondary devices can be attached to the HDMI connectors on the box to avoid a mass of cable and untidy room.
This single 4m cable will power the Audi, the screen, video and as Phillips has told us, it links for your remote controls, making it possible for you to put all your hardware into a cupboard out of sight but still have control.
So, to in-keep with the minimalist clean design, the Philips Essence comes with a easy wall mounting system, allowing the TV to be hung virtually flush to the wall, the Essence also comes with sound bar (delivering 2 x 15 watts). Also wants so great about the mounting of this TV, it only weights 16.5kg so you can level the TV by hand, instead of doing yourself a injury trying to mount it.
