Xbox 360 price drop in Japan: U.S. next in line
By: Peter Chubb | September 1, 2008 | Leave a CommentWe have all been waiting for Microsoft to announce a price cut of their Xbox 360; well it seems that Japan is the first to see a cheaper Xbox. The Xbox Arcade version has now dropped to ¥19,800 or about $182.
It is expected that a price cut in the U.S. will follow soon. All three types of consoles should see a price drop in North America on September 7.
Microsoft are doing all they can to try and stay ahead in the battle with the Sony PS3. However they will have to do a lot more than price cuts to do that.
