Texas Instruments’ Pico projector: see it in action
By: Peter Chubb | September 1, 2008 | Leave a CommentWe know that both Optoma and Toshiba have expressed their interest in Texas Instruments’ Pico projector. There has been a lot of talk but we have not seen the thing in action, well the guys over at Engadget have seen the thing in action.
The small unit pumps out a WVGA1000:1 image, this is not great but it is satisfactory. The Pico projector pushes out a tiny 0.5 watts of sound, so you will not have to worry about blowing the speakers up.
The built-in battery should allow the projector to run for at least a couple of hours. Watch the video below to see Texas Instruments‘ Pico projector in action.
