There have been a number of rumors circulating the Internet about Google Chrome Web Browser. There was an article on Google Blogoscoped, wondering if this web browser was in fact the real deal or just one of those rumors that get out of hand.
Philipp Lenssen, the man who wrote the article said that until he sees something like a beta release, then he will remain optimistic on Chrome. He did say that if it were true, then Google Chrome would be a logical extension of Google’s web based services.
It does make you wonder what has taken Google so long to come up with their own web browser, what they have done to their search engine shows that they can put their minds to anything. So is Google Chrome the real deal, or just another rumor?

I’ve been a fan of Google for a long time now so I maybe a little bias. I’ve just downloaded, installed and now using Chrome. It loads a lot faster than Explorer 8 and even Firefox 3. It doesn’t occupy a large screen footprint on the top so you see more of the site you are visiting. Web pages seems to load faster too. Iv’e been using it for only about three hours so I still got a lot to check but as of now, I am satisfied. Just some questions for the developer, will there be add-ons for this a-la Firefox? Thanks and more power.
