Snapture 2.0 brings improvements to iPhone 3G cameras
Filed under: Cell Phones

Today, Snapture released an enhanced camera app for the iPhone, which integrates some of the most advanced and interactive features to ever be implemented on a camera phone! Snapture 2.0 brings all the features of an advanced digital camera to the iPhone, and their new QuickView system now allows users to view and delete recent pictures directly on the viewfinder – a feature that cuts the average photo taking session in half. View the press release below for more information.
Love the iPhone, but think the stock camera app is too simplistic? Wish your iPhone could zoom-in to capture a close-up? Sick of having to enter camera roll to view or delete your last shot?
Well you are going to love Snapture 2.0. It has all the features of a digital camera. You can zoom in with a pinch of your fingers. You can view and delete recent photos directly on the view finder. And, it’s available in 10 languages.
Snapture 2.0 truly takes iPhone photography to the next level. The free ad-supported version builds on the popular features of its first release (easy photo capture, multishot, delay timer, level, etc), but also adds a new clean user-interface, multi-touch gesture zoom, and new color modes like sepia and negative.
But the real story is in Snapture’s new QuickView System – which is a true game changer in mobile photography. The QuickView System allows users to view, enlarge and delete recent pictures directly on the viewfinder. This cuts the average photo taking session in half, by saving the hassle of having to exit the camera app and enter Camera Roll when you want to see or delete a recent pic. QuickView is available only on Snapture Premium, and can be enabled for $7.99 US.
Snapture requires a jailbroken original or 3G iPhone, and can be downloaded via Installer or Cydia under utilities. To view a demo, please visit SnaptureLabs.com/videos. For more information about Snapture, please visit SnaptureLabs.com.

Niiiiiiiiiice! This is sooo cool. Tried to resist jailbreaking my 3g but this is the break point. I’m downloading Pwnage right now. Here I come Snapture…
Doesn’t do anyone good if they don’t hack their phone…. get it in the app store and I might think about buying it…. poor choice to only offer it to people that want to take chances by hacking their phones and destroying their warranty…
If it was that good then it would be offered in the app store…
I use this all the time! It is amazing! Apple should have put these features in their camera to start with, as well as video!
@Nice program poor judgement
Really man, poor judgment indeed, judging something you haven’t tried because you are too scared to jailbreak your little phone! I can tell you that none of the coolest apps will ever be released in the app store, because they represent what Apple should have provided us with in the first place! But that’s okay… Enjoy your standard iPhone photos… kinda reminds me of the very first phone camera I had that clipped on to the Sony T68!
