Audi A4 Challenge: First iPhone app by auto manufacturer

Today Audi have announced “Audi A4 Challenge”, the application is the first iPhone app from a major auto manufacturer.

A4 Challenge is supported by a unique A4 iPhone experience website, it also allows players to drive the entirely new 2009 Audi A4.

The driving game takes advantage of the Apple iPhone and iPhone 3G’s accelerometer, the motion sensor is used to steer a digital version of Audi’s entirely new 2009 A4.

You can progress through a series of challenging courses with each one offering another challenge to test your hand-to-eye coordination.

This is both a bit of fun for iPhone owners and a good way for Audi to promote their new 2009 A4 that will be available from September 2008 in Audi dealerships.
