Students and other Web surfers in Verizon’s Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington, D.C., service areas can now order a nine-month broadband plan with rates starting as low as $26.99.
“This is the busy time of year when students head to college, and they’re looking for deals on everything,” said Toby Frank, director of marketing in Verizon’s Potomac region. “Verizon has the perfect solution for these cost-conscious consumers who want reliable broadband speeds at a great value.”
Students and others can get stand-alone High Speed Internet for nine months at the following rates:
* 768 kilobits per second (kbps)* download /128 Kbps upload for $26.99 monthly
* 3 megabits per second (Mbps)/768Kbps for $31.99 monthly
* 7 Mbps/768Kbps for $42.99 monthly
