Vauxhall Insignia Sports Tourer Estate: first pictures
By: Peter Chubb | August 15, 2008

Here are the first pictures of the new Vauxhall Insignia Sports Tourer. This new model from Vauxhall is to replace the ageing Vectra at the end of the year.
As well as this estate version there is to be a hatchback and saloon models, all are expected to try and compete with the Ford Mondeo.
Vauxhall are already inundated with orders for their new vehicle, I defy anyone who says that they do not like the new Insignia.
Tog Gear has always hated the Vectra, but they have admitted that the new Vauxhall Insignia is a great car. The guys on the show agree that Vauxhall are the only car maker to have great looking cars across their model range.
The Vauxhall Insignia Sports Tourer is to go on sale in 2009, which will be just after the launch of the hatchback and saloon. Prices are expected to start at just below £17,000.
