As we are now well and truly in the middle of a credit crunch it seems to be getting harder to spend money on electrical goods. Manufactures and retailers know this, which is why they are doing there best to offer us some great deals.
Many of us wish to own a camcorder but they are often out of our reach, unless you are talking about the new Aiptek PocketDV AHD 300. This is a budget-level1080p camcorder.
How many other 1080p camcorders do you know for less that $250, not many that I know of.
Well we have to be honest here; the Aiptek PocketDV AHD 300 can only capture footage at 1440×1080. Normally you would expect to get 1920×1080 image being displayed on your HDTV. Do not let that worry you, as a number of high end camcorders only offer 1440×1080.
Internal storage is very poor just 90mb, but it does take SDHC SD cards with support up to 32GB. There is no optical zoom just digital, so that is a bit crappy and the 2.4-inch TFT LCD display is a little on the small side.
Do not forget that this camcorder is just $250, so you get what you pay for.
