Orange has won the battle of the BlackBerry Bold, as they plan to release it in the UK from the 16 August, beating T-Mobile’s September release date.
The BlackBerry Bold is an Email focused Smartphone with 3G, Wi-Fi and GPS built in. A spokesperson from Orange made this statement over at the Inquirer, “Orange will be taking stock on the 14th and will have them in its shops by the Saturday 16th, along with online ordering.”
Meanwhile, other providers O2 and Vodafone have yet to release details regarding their releases of the phone, but after this announcement from Orange, I expect either one to come forward and announce dates of some sort.
Orange will offer the BlackBerry Bold on a £45 a month tariff with the handset free.
