Hands-on: Jabra BT4010 Bluetooth headset

Jabra sent us the BT4010 Bluetooth headset and on first impressions honestly thought this is just another ordinary headset and nothing to special in my eyes, but I was wrong. It is actually a nice little headset which is one of the easiest I have ever used in the way of pairing with devices.

Jabra say “The Smart Way to Talk” and I have to agree with them, below you will see a number of photos I have taken so you can get a better look of the headset, you can also find more information with the source links as well.

There are a few reasons why I love Jabra BT4010 Bluetooth headset, one being the size, it is so small at only L50mm X W22mm X D24mm, and the second reason is because it has an Smart Display that will let you know when it is pairing, it also shows you the battery life, let’s you know if you are connected during a call.

The Jabra BT4010 is user friendly, I paired it with my iPhone which was quick and easy, basically turned the on Bluetooth on the iPhone, then click the button on the Jabra BT4010 headset, you will see the Bluetooth symbol flash and hey presto you have paired the two devices, how simple is that. When I say this headset will be up and running in seconds I really do mean it will be running up in SECONDS.

The headset will offer you long talk time and crystal clear sound, oh just so you know I have also used this headset on the Playstation 3 gaming console and it was great. You can choose two options of wearing, being it in the ear or over the ear with the ear-hook supplied.
The box contains the Jabra BT2010 with internal rechargeable battery, 1 quick start guide, 1 mini-cd with language user guides, 1 optional earhook, 1 AC power supply.

Main features include Smart Display which will let you know you battery status and Bluetooth connection status and call status, Easy to use 3 button operation, Ideal for all day talk, long talk and standby time, Discreet wearing style without flashing lights and Clear conversations with Bluetooth 2.0 EDR & eSCO.

Main specifications includes pp to 7 hours talk time, up to 200 hours standby time, charging time is roughly 2 hours, weighs 11 grams, has a rechargeable lithium polymer battery, Bluetooth version 2.0 specifications and has a range of up to 10 meters.

All in all the Jabra BT4010 Bluetooth headset is highly recommended, I like it a lot and the price is quite cheap really, for more information please visit Jabra.com for a better interactive look please click here. Check out some pictures below.
