Has the PS3 lost another exclusive in Little Big Planet?

We have picked up on an article over at PS3Daily, stating that the eagerly anticipated title Little Big Planet, may not turn out to be a PS3 exclusive after all.

An image over there appears to show that the title may be heading towards the PC, but since there is no official word on it, just take it as a normal rumour until an official statement is brought out.

Personally, the image looks like a clever fake to me, besides the last thing PS3 gamers would want is losing another exclusive title, after the Final Fantasy saga, even more so, the game is being produced by SCEA so I doubt that there is any truth to this.

Stay tuned to hear more news as we get it, what is your initial reaction to this rumour, if it appears to be true, would PS3 gamers welcome it onto the PC? Post your comments below.

Fact is it even says sony on that box art. First off I dont belive it to be true second it would not be a bad thing for sony beacuse it would be sony making the game. If it becomes a huge fan fare of a game which it no dought will, the abillity to bring pc mods to ps3 sounds awsome!!! And it would never come out on another console which is just better for sony.

all sony games can only be played on a playstation.

    god of war
    killzone
    uncharted
    heavenly sword
    gran turismo
    ratchet and clank
    ico
    shadow of colossus
    twisted metal
    warhawk
    socom
    motorstorm
    resistence

just to name a few, but the list is a big one

playstation exclusives are true exclusives, only enjoyed on a playstation

not like xbox, that any game they call “exclusive”, you can played it on a pc or another console later, and play even better, like halo, gears of war, bioshock, etc

Sony are the publishers of little big planet & that makes it impossible for it to ever appear on the pc, if it was another firm publishing the ps3 exclusive then it wud b plausable but as it’s a sony published ps3 exclusive & this is journalism jumping on bandwagons looking to get a stir in the fanboy wars! If any reporter actually thinks this arrived in a store almost 3 months b4 it is released on the ps3 is bad at their job, sony have hyped this 4 a long time now, yet the cover is a blank with little big planet on the front, yeah ud really believe a creative game wud have such an uncreative cover!

    @ Ray

Providing a link the another site doesn’t make the rumor a fact…D0UCHE!!!

I’m happy to hear the rest can pull truth from fiction. Ivan_PSP is 100% correct; LBP is being developed by Sony’s inhouse studio and they have no incentive to release LBP on any other platform. As for the box art, how many PS3 games have ONLY the Sony logo but not the Playstation 3 logo? NONE!!! That’s how many.

Like I’ve said on numerous threads, Product-Reviews no longer reports news. I’ve read three articles on Product-Reviews that use Comments the visitors leave and then Product-Reviews presents them as facts.

VGChartz.com is a great gaming news source…they don’t update as much as product reviews, but all thier articles are real, they’re thought out, and ACCURATE.

does anyone on here realize how simple it would be to fabricate box art for a game?

give me a few hours and I could have gears of war on ps3, metal gear solid on the wii, and mario kart on the 360.

people need to look at what we know.

little big planet was developed by sony. the issue for sony right now is exclusives (and the seemingly lack thereof). Little big planet has never had any inkling of a rumor leaked about lbp being multi-console until this shabby, poorly lit (especially for a supposed game store…. i’ve never been in a dimly lit gamestore before) photoshop job.

you see one picture and now everyone seems to think its fact. I hope you same people don’t read tabloids then, I can’t imagine how you would handle the stress of all the aliens and monsters lurking about everywhere.

amateurs. you all suck at the internet.

Clearly because Sony own the rights, if it appears on PC (which I doubt), it’s because Sony wants it to..

Either way, if you want it on 360, you are sh1t out of luck, as there is no user created content allowed on 360…

    LMAO

I love how the Xbots think games like Gears Of War and Mass Effect are 360 exclusives even though they are on the PC yet LBP ISNT a PS3 exclusive if it goes to the PC lol

damn, some monkey prints out a box cover and photographs it and now it is TEH FAX!!

damn, i used to print my own covers for PS2 games all the time.

  14. ShittyPants on August 26th, 2008 7:34 pm

First of all, who cares, second this rumor has been around for a while because of this picture, whoever photo shopped it must be proud! Why would the PC version retail box already be designed and printed when it hasn’t even been annouced for the PC and it’s still two months away from being released on the PS3.

Me thinks logic can answer this one.

  15. This is pointless... on November 25th, 2008 8:38 pm

“Losing Exclusives” …what medication are you on, fool? What a pointless article, you’re just an idiot. Truth be told. ^^

Even if this was true, in contrast xbox360 has NO exclusives as it is, they are ALL available on PC. Take your time and write a report of 360’s lack of “true” exclusives…if you really want to pretend your a journalist, lol.

This is why bloggers are pathetic, lol.
