The world of entertainment is quickly shifting to digital video as can be seen with the unprecedented availability of online content whether it’s watching full-episodes of SURVIVOR from the CBS HD Gallery or downloading The Office from NBC Direct.

For the first time in the United States, NBCOlympics.com announced plans to stream approximately 2,200 hours of Olympic broadband video coverage on top of video—on-demand options.

NBC Universal, broadcasting its record 11th Olympics and surpassing ABC for the most Olympics broadcast by any network, will present an unprecedented 3,600 hours of Beijing Olympic Games coverage, the most ambitious single media project in history.
