New V-Rod Muscle in 2009 Harley Davidson Line-Up

It looks as though there is a new line-up in the Harley Davidson family, the new 2009 V-Rod Muscle; this is part of the V-Rod family. The look of this bike is a new one; this is a result of the angular bodywork and exhaust pipes which exit from both sides of the Hog.
The engine used is the Revolution; this is an excellent powerplant, and Harley Davidson hope that this will be enough to attract more buyers, as The Motor Company has been having a hard time of late.
Harley Davidson hope that the new 2009 V-Rod Muscle will be able to ride their way onto the Power Cruiser scene, the huge rear tire spinning under a clean, clipped fender, sweeping side-pipe exhaust and gapping air scoops might well be a winning formula this time.
The 1250cc Revolution V-Twin engine is liquid-cooled and has Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection, four-valve heads and dual overhead cams. The engine is mounted to a five-speed transmission. The engine produces 125hp and will rev up to 8250 rpm
Could Harley Davidson finally have hit gold with the new 2009 V-Rod Muscle, only time will tell?

I’m **SOOOOO** glad to see that this bike has less HP than the 2008 Night Rod Special that I just bought.
Thanks HD, for keeping me from messing myself.
Your such a boob… If u look the couple hp they took went into more torque (thanks to the exaust) which is better off the line errrr
THIS IS MY FIFTH HARLEY AND BY FAR THE BEST.
STUPID NAME I KNOW, BUT THE BIKE HANDLES LIKE A DREAM RIDES BETTER THAN ANYTHING I’VE OWNED IN THE PAST.
AND AT 4500 RPM THIS THING SCREAMS GUYS THE TORQUE IS FAR BETTER THAN THE 08 V-RODS.I TESTED ONE OF THOSE TO.
WITH ALL THAT SAID THE ONLY FLAW I FIND IS THE BARS SHOULD BE SLIGHTLY HIGHER MAYBE 3″ AT MOST.
TRY ONE AND I BET YOU WILL GET ONE .AS FOR THE PIPES NOT BEING LOUD ENOUGH SO WHAT! THE BIKES ROCKS……
AND DON’T WORRY ABOUT THE 240 REAR IT CORNERS VERY WELL BETTER THAN MY 2006 SCREAMING EAGLE FAT BOY(WHICH I TRADED IT FOR THE “MUSCLE” ONCE I TRIED IT). I’VE HAD PLENTY OF BIKES FROM JAPAN,EUROPE,AND US. THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST.
Hey, Tony!
I fell in love with the Muscle when I first saw the pics, and then, when they got one in at the dealership. I still love it, and wanted to know… how tall are you? I had heard you had to be at least 5′10″ in order to be able to clear the pipes on both sides. I am 5′6″ and seem to be okay. I am going to wait until after the first of the year to see if they will have a seat which would bring the rider forward about two inches or so. I may also check on lowering the bike two inches, but hopefully; bottoming out won’t be an issue. As far as the sound; it’s fine. It’s not a chopper.
Thanks!
Rose
I got to say this bike looks amazing.
I’m in the market for a bike. its going to be my first bike, and aggressive cruisers are what I like. Therefore, I been looking at the Triumph Speed Triple and this baby. Any suggestions guys?
Love this baby!
I might be tempted…. but my 08nightrod with TAB is sweet….
I did have a go at the speedtriple…. but is not a bad axx like this rod….
hey if you r still looking for a rod, come and see mine!
its a beast it drps zx10r an gsxrs1000r off the line
Picking up my muscle this p.m. - my 4th Harley - rode just about everything, Brits, Japs, Italians etc.. but there’s nothing like an HD! Had a v rod for 4 years but traded for a screamin eagle dyna FXDSE2. Going back to the rod, I’m afraid, alhough I love ‘em, the air cooled just can’t cut it like the rods. SO leave ‘em behind to play catch up!
