Now Available: iPod Touch and iPhone 2.0 update

After checking every few minutes all day long, we can now confirm that the iPod Touch and iPhone 2.0 update is now available on Apple iTunes.
We thought the pop up box saying the version of the iPhone software I had (1.1.4) would never stop showing, the wait for the current version to move to 2.0 seemed to take ages.
Last week we heard that the iPhone 2.0 software was being leaked and some users were updating to the new software, this version was not complete or official and these users obviously like to take a risk.
Today is the day most users waited for, they wanted the official Apple iPhone 2.0 firmware and from just a few minutes ago they can not get it, although I am sure some people will have connection problems as in the past thanks to a high demand.
So if you want to make your iPhone enterprise-ready or you want all the improved features for personal use, then update now to give the iPhone or iPod a new lease of life.

did anyone get 2.0 yet?
Like others, I finally got the button to download the new software, waited as usual for the download. It then did most of the steps of the install: save settings, remove old software, restore software, install new firmware. It then said “stay connected while we connect you to iTunes store”. The Accessing iTunes store window has had the the barber pole turning and turning for almost an hour now…
At least some of you still have 1.1.4. I am now stuck in emergency mode because the apple servers are crapping out. Error message (-4) . And all it says in my itunes iphone section is “iphone” with no other options like possibly restore to previous software!
I was able to click on the get the 2.0 update button, and after a while, I got to the point of it sort of talking to the iTunes store, but after waiting 30-60 seconds, it said the connection timed out. Has anyone else gotten that error message?
How do I update to 2.0?
My iPod Summary says there is still no update available.
